eduroam

Eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. It is a federation of institutions that offers Internet connectivity to the roaimng users of all other member institutions. This is done by accepting the credentials from the user's home institution, allowing students, researchers faculty and staff from participating academic institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply using their wifi-capable devices.

CEU have joined to the Eduroam service in January 2014. In case you visited our facilities, and your home institution is also member of the eduroam community, you can simply use CEU's wireless internet service by connecting to the wireless network named "eduroam", and when requested, identifying yourself with your institutional email address as user name (If you are outside of Hungary, use your email address as login name with ceu.hu instead of ceu.edu.), and with your Novell password.
